and why.

The principle
We collect as little as we can get away with, we never sell it, and you can have it deleted by sending one email.
What we collect
If you join the waitlist
Your email address, and optionally which design interests you and your size. We use it to email you when the edition goes live, and to work out how many of each size to make. That is all.
If you share an observation
Your original observation, the optional context you add, the interpretation produced through the OBSERVE lens, your consent choices, and optionally a first name, city and email address. Name and city are only shown publicly if you choose credit. If the moment is eligible, we may also keep the private design brief and generated artwork needed to show and deliver your tee concept. Your email address is never published.
If you buy something
Name, delivery address, phone number and email, because a parcel cannot otherwise arrive. Your card and UPI details go directly to our payment provider and never touch our systems.
When you just visit
We use a privacy-friendly analytics tool that counts page views and scroll depth without cookies and without building a profile of you. No cookie banner, because there are no tracking cookies to consent to.
Who else sees it
- Supabase — our database, where waitlist entries and observations are stored
- OpenAI — processes the observation and optional context to produce the immediate OBSERVE interpretation and, for eligible moments, original concept artwork; your email, first name and city are not included in those requests
- Our payment provider — processes payments; we never see your card details
- Our courier and shipping aggregator — receive your name, address and phone to deliver
- Our email tool — sends artwork delivery or marketing emails only for the separate options you selected
No one else receives it for these purposes. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not run advertising that profiles you.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist emails: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them
- Observations: indefinitely, because the archive is a record — unless you ask us to remove yours
- Generated concept artwork: while your private result is active or until you ask us to remove it
- Order records: as long as tax law requires us to keep them
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and withdraw consent. Email hello@weobserve.in and we will act within 30 days. There is nothing to argue about — it is your data.
Children
This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Security
Data is held in Supabase behind access controls, and the site is served over HTTPS. We are a small operation and cannot promise perfect security, but we do not keep what we do not need, which is the most effective protection available.
